A new departure for Coleridge
and Pat Gurtner, but one that was too good to miss. Several years
ago, Pat fell in love with a four week old bundle and just couldn't resist
- So a few weeks later, a tiny little Boston Terror (pardon the pun) came
to live with the Coleridge Blues. You see, Pat grew up with a Boston
Terrier and, well......... Anyway, Pat's eye for quality was still
working when she found this little girl and so a new chapter and foundation
has begun with Pat at Coleridge.
 Folly, a lovely, expressive little girl, has become one of the joys of Pat's life. Shown above with handler, Dianne K. Penner, going Best of Breed from the classes over specials under Roy Prado, Folly needs only a major to finish her championship. Folly has taken time off for maternity leave (bred to BIS/BISS CH Yoki En's Sir Andrew at Morys) producing exceptionally nice puppies. You'll be seeing her son, Coleridge's Mischief Maker in the Open class whilelitter-brother/son, CH Coleridge's Chunky Monkey is now being "specialed" (currently he is ranked number 16 in BOB competion). We'll have some pictures of him and Chief up soon. Coming soon to the puppy classes will be Pat's picks from Folly's second litter (to CH Zuran's "Rock the Boat" - This time she's kept a nice brindle male, Coleridge's Piece of the Rock ("Chip") and a Black/Brindle female, Coleridge's Jingle Belle Rock ("Belle"). Both are charming and should do well in the ring. Pictures of them and other coming soon As always Pat continues to work toward consistency and quality. All genetic testing is being done on her Boston Terriers - B.A.E.R. testing, Ultra-sound on heart, Thyroid and C.E.R.F. - so that Coleridge Bostons willl gain the same reputation that Pat's Danes have - Excellence in style, health and temperament. |
